Robert Capa was a Hungrarian combat photographer and photojournalist who covered five different wars; the Spanish Civil War, the Second Sino-Japanese War, World War II across Europe, the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, and the First Indochina War. He documented the course of World War II in London, North Africa, Italy, the Battle of Normandy on Omaha Beach and the liberation of Paris.
羅伯特.卡帕, 匈牙利籍美裔攝影記者, 二十世紀最著名的戰地攝影記者之一. 他參與報導過五場二十世紀的主要戰爭;西班牙內戰, 中國抗日戰爭, 二戰歐洲戰場, 第一次中東戰爭以及第一次印支戰爭. 二戰期間卡帕跟隨著美軍報導了北非, 義大利的軍事行動, 諾曼第登陸中的奧瑪咍海灘戰役以及巴黎的解放. 卡帕被認為是"決定性瞬間"的集大成者之一, 他的作品通過凝結瞬間再現了戰爭的殘酷和暴戾, 突出表現再他的幾幅名作中.
